On March 12th, David Coulthard will be driving the RB7, the same car that Sebastian Vettel used to win the F1 championship in 2011, during the Red Bull F1 Showrun in Bandra.

Red Bull Racing, the reigning F1 champions, are set to bring their showrun to Mumbai on March 12th. The event will feature a showcase of bike stunt riding by Arunas ‘Aras’ Gibieza, one of the world’s most renowned pro stunt riders, and a drive by David Coulthard, the thirteen-time F1 race winner, on the streets of Bandra. Here are some common questions about the event:

What car will David Coulthard drive?

Coulthard will drive Sebastian Vettel’s 2011 F1 championship-winning car, the RB7, which is one of the most dominant machines in Formula 1 history. The car has a 2.4-litre V8 engine producing up to 750hp, making it pretty loud. Attendees are advised to bring earplugs.

There are four ticket categories available, with General Access tickets being free of charge but limited in numbers and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gold Arena tickets cost Rs 499 for standing space in reserved areas, while Diamond Arena tickets are priced at Rs 2,499 for standing space and access to the Red Bull Energy Station. The HSBC Starstruck Lounge tickets cost Rs 25,000 for a two-day package including seating in the grandstand, a meet and greet with Coulthard, live interactions, an invite to the official after party, and Red Bull Racing memorabilia. However, all tickets are currently sold out.

What time does the Mumbai Red Bull showrun start?

The gates open at 8am, and the event starts at 10am. Parking will not be available at the venue, so attendees are advised to use public transport.

Mumbai Red Bull show run entry points

There are three entry points for the event. Entry 1 is located near Galaxy Apartments on the north end of Bandra Bandstand for people with passes for the RB7 Arena, BBRT Arena, Diamond Arena 1 and 2, HSBC Starstruck Lounge, Pit Stop Arena, and FORB and WIIINGS Arena. Entry 2 is located near Mannat on the south end of Bandra Bandstand for those with passes for the Smart Bazaar and Gold Arenas. Entry 3, also near Mannat, is for those with General Access passes. There are two drop-off points, one at the intersection of Hill Road and Bandstand, near Galaxy Apartments, and the other at the intersection of Kane Road and Bandstand, near Mannat.

Can you carry a camera?

Basic point-and-shoot cameras are allowed, but professional cameras with detachable lenses or a DSLR, monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks are not permitted.

Do’s and don’ts Attendees are advised to carry their own empty transparent water bottles, as free drinking water refills will be available at any of the kiosks. Refillable cups will also be available for purchase. Prohibited items include any sharp objects, drones, sound systems and music instruments, flammable items, markers, pens, spray paint, opaque bottles, pocket lasers and laser pens, aerosols, cigarettes, and alcohol. Allowed items include binoculars, cell phones and portable chargers, sunscreen in non-aerosol containers (100ml or less), ear plugs, and hearing protection devices.
